Located in the Garden District of New Orleans, La., the Magnolia Mansion is one block from St. Charles Avenue, which serves as the route of the Mardi Gras parade and is traversed by the St. Charles Trolley, which runs to the Central Business District. One mile from the bed and breakfast is the French Quarter, which contains Bourbon Street, the French Market and Jackson Square. The Louisiana Superdome, National D Day Museum, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and Harrah's Casino are also one mile away.Features. This adults only, Greek Revival style inn was built in 1858 and once served as headquarters for the Red Cross. The inn features eleven white Corinthian columns and a balcony overlooking magnolia trees, gardenias and jasmine. Complimentary continental breakfasts are served each morning on the veranda or in the dining room.
