Ocean view rooms are not available. Do not call resort to request specific units. Air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms. Please contact the resort in advacne if you will arrive later than your confirmed check in date and time. Guests at the Poipu resort do not have special privileges at Hyatt hotel next door. Each unit is charged a non refundable $70 energy surcharge. The resort must charge a state mandated transient accommodations tax which is approximately $40 per unit per room confirmed. Please be advised through out the island of Kauai can be found wild flocks of chickens. The crowing of roosters can be heard and may be of concern to some late sleepers. No smoking is allowed in units or on the premises. There is a security deposit required by credit cards only.
